Gospel Essential #5: God Is Loving
God IS a loving God! Yet, it is infinitely important to remember, this truth is but one of the six essential components of the Gospel. While many focus on this aspect of God's character, I firmly believe in a more balanced, Scripturally cumulative approach. For example, I would have serious difficulty believing John 3:16 ("...God put to death His only Son...?) if I never understood other essential components. Even so, if we take God's love as our focus temporarily, how might we communicate this truth to someone who does not yet know Christ?
