“TRUE WOMAN” CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN:
LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE USING OUR GROUP REGISTRATION COD [WESTSIDE] IS WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 8, 2010, IT EXPIRES AFTER THAT DATE.
The True Woman Conference being held September 23 – 25, 2010: in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Indiana Convention Center. Westside is offering assistance to help offset conference costs; do not let costs keep you from attending and benefiting from this conference. Talk to one of the elders or Megan Taul if you need assistance. You can learn more about the True Woman conference at: http://www.truewoman.com or by contacting Megan Taul. If attending, you can reserve a spot through the True Woman website and use our group code; use code [WESTSIDE] to receive the group rate. Please use the https://www.truewoman.com/?id=818 link to order your ticket(s) directly through the conference website. Our group code is effective until Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Ticket prices are as follows: (student prices are for women in high school or full-time college or seminary students):
Individuals with group code: $109 – ($74 students)
Individuals without group code: $129 – ($94 students)
Individuals at the door price: $159 – ($124 students).
NEW MEMBER CLASSES START THIS SUNDAY
Our newest NEW MEMBERS CLASSES are starting this Sunday morning @ 9:00AM at the Pritchard Center. Please meet at the tables in foyer next to the vending machines. Everyone is welcome join in even if you have not made the decision to join Westside Baptist yet or even if you are currently a member. We do ask that you please contact Brother J. T. Kirkpatrick to let him know so that he has enough materials on hand for everyone. We hope you gain a greater understanding of Westside Baptist and build new friendships at the same time.
WBC MEMBERS MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2010:
It is time for our quarterly members meeting once again. It is scheduled for Sunday, September 19, following our regular scheduled worship service. We will be having Joy Risner, a Southern Baptist missionary speaking with us during the worship service too. We do plan to still have our pot luck luncheon along with the members meeting. The menu this time is Mexican oriented, and you can contact Nancy Shores to coordinate with her for the menu. As always, we cordially invite our guests and visitors to stay and enjoy the meal with us and to stay for the members meeting to learn more about our church. We encourage all our members to be an active part of the meeting, so we hope to see you Sunday, September 19, 2010.
HOME BIBLE FELLOWSHIP STUDY:
Home BIBLE Fellowship Study resumes this Sunday evening. Join us Sunday evenings @ 6:00PM at the home of Jim & Barbara Eastridge as we come together to share time in fellowship, prayer, and Bible study within a relaxed family oriented setting. Everyone is welcome to join us.
