Do this daily throughout the Christmas season, and you will start to feel better about things as long as you are honest with God in your prayers. Remember that the man made possessions and gifts we buy and receive cannot be taken with us when we are called to heaven. They are just things upon this earth that will be returned to the dust that they came from someday. Remember that many of these goods can serve a greater purpose such as our Holy Bibles that we take to church, the computer to listen to past sermons on, the vehicles we travel in when evangelizing to the lost and ministering to the sick by, and the building we hold our services within are all manmade items, but they allow us to get to know our Savior on a more intimate level each day. It all depends on how we decide to use the possessions that God blesses us with while upon this earth. Please take the time to thank God for what you have each day. Your single prayer will ring out louder in heaven than all cash register buzzing at once here on earth. Give God a gift, give Him your praise, and just give it all to God this Christmas! His son, Jesus has already given us the greatest gift we know of, and that is our salvation and promise of life eternal in Heaven someday soon. What are you waiting for? Are you taking time for JESUS?
